How to use the input area

Input data from "Title" to "Wheel Diameter" while confirming the unit. Be careful that the unit of "Mass of the Train" is kg.

If you input the tractive effort which is limited by the adhesion, you should keep "Adhesion coefficient" and "Weight on Driving Wheel" fields blank. 

If data is properly input, the screen turns to like this.

 

Use Default Adhesion Formula

The formula Super Notch Man uses is shown below.

t is the available traction.
Mu is the static adhesion coefficient. 
V is the speed (km/h) of the train. 
W is the weight on driving wheels. (The input field "Weight on Driving Wheel" above. The unit is kg.)

a and b are constants specified by you in "Adhesion Coefficient" field..

In "Adhesive Coefficient" field, input the string arranged in the order of "mu,a,b".
"," is used to separate each coefficient.
